Scriptwriting
The goal of scriptwriting is to convey a message—written initially for the eye but one that will eventually speak to the ear of an audience. A script must be written so that the message resonates, first with the reader, and later—when combined with visual images, background music, and similar sensory tracks—in the video format, whether it's streaming from your website, featured on YouTube, or projected to an auditorium.
Good scriptwriting happens when the message is powerfully written, with flow and rhythm, and crafted in consonance with the subject, theme, and feel of the video. The mark of good script is in the results—the overall seamlessness of the video production, where the eye and the ear of the audience are synchronized and in balance.
As in most writing, the rule is to Know Your Audience, whether the script is written for a new employee orientation video ... a training program ... or for a new product roll-out.
NWG writers understand that the key to scriptwriting is communicating through a series of descriptive elements that, together, show rather than tell your story. And they are prepared to help you do it.
The business of communications ... the art of language ... the power of professionals
